Ain't No Sunshine

I had the chance to work Reggae artist Ed Robinson, who has a new cover album coming out this summer. He asked for a few forms of content to release along side his new cover single “Ain’t No Sunshine” originally by Bill Withers. I shot a one on one interview and took some promotional photos for the album on a Saturday afternoon — the interview was off the cuff but came out really well considering the time it took to shoot.

Ed Robinson's been a big part of the Reggae genre for over 30 years. We had the chance to interview him about some upcoming projects and past influences in our studio. For your next production, check out Kings Park Studios! https://www.kingsparkstudios.com/

A few weeks later I met Ed and his manager Luciana at the Fire Island lighthouse to shoot his video for “Ain’t No Sunshine”. I used the Blackmagic Ursa Mini Pro, DJI Mavic Pro and Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K to capture as much as I could before it started to get busy. All in all it was a pretty chill day, and the fact that my father had shot a film in the same bay 30 years prior made it more special The cover is awesome so check it out on itunes, youtube, and spotify

With a limited time frame, we were able to add some basic visual effects to Ed Robinson's new music video, "Ain't no sunshine." Shot on Blackmagic cameras and the DJI Mavic Pro. All effects composited in-house in our studio on Long Island, New York. For your next production check out our studio!
We left the studio to shoot Ed Robinson's new music video for "Ain't no Sunshine" . We also shot some of the cuff promo material for various social media platforms.
