Goodbye 22

Q4 of 22 has been all about updating Studio 454 with new equipment to revamp look and offered services moving forward into the new year. New equipment, new talent, and a fresh objective. Until now, Studio 454 was setup to only capture specific types of production. Our new process, includes diversifying our content portfolio for all platforms and a variety of shooting methods. Providing services in studio, on-location, or virtually. Easing the process for our clients that want a polished video but may not have the resources or time to do so.

This month, I rewired our control room in order to implement some new hardware. I decided to keep our outdated live switcher which still works well for what we need— albeit, minor issues with framerates and resolutions. Our main upgrade gives us the ability to overlay graphics and utilize live keying for streamed webinars, already a night/day improvement over teams, webcams, and crappy laptop audio.
While there are still many more changes to come, it was great finally getting approval to move forward with these new proposed changes and services.

A lot of projects as of late, have been internal promo’s regarding a plethora of new technologies.

Shifting focus from studio endeavors, December tends to be slower for major projects with more of my time devoted to family and leisure. It’s a good month for reflection and planning for the future.

I wish everyone a healthy and Happy New Year! Cheers to 2023!
